The Learning Center
The Art Therapy Program Learning Center provides engaging professional development workshops designed for art therapists, counselors, social workers and other mental health professionals interested in expanding their knowledge base. Workshops can also help therapists and social workers earn credit toward Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
Workshops cover a wide range of specialties, including neuroscience and counseling approaches, trauma training and Jungian and archetypal concepts. Sessions generally last one full day and include one or more visiting speakers, visual arts activities and panel discussions.

Workshops and Talks Available for Registration
The GW Art Therapy Program has been approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 3053. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. The George Washington University Art Therapy Department is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
