Gioia Chilton, MA, ATR-BC is a Doctor of Philosophy Candidate at Drexel University’s Creative Arts Therapies Ph.D. Program. She is currently completing her dissertation titled, An Arts-Based Study of the Dynamics of Expressing Positive Emotions within the Intersubjective Art Making Process. Gioia is adjunct faculty at the George Washington University’s Graduate Art Therapy Program and at Marymount University. She has a special interest in positive psychology and is co-founder of Creative Wellbeing Workshops. She lectures nationally on topics such as arts-based research and art therapy and positive psychology.
